    HALLOWEEN ON FILM

I turned eighteen in October (I’m now legal everywhere but Dubai and the US ayyy) and decided to throw a Halloween party, my last chance to dress up before adulthood hits. Just kidding. I have more fun dressing up now than I did as a kid. Because I wanna be Sydney Carlson so bad I decided to use my birthday gift card to buy three film rolls and a disposable camera. And because my dad is the tech-savvy man he is, we found his old film cameras in our attic and lo and behold they still work! Shoutout to dm for not messing up my order or any of my…

    Suburbia: The Moodboard

“Suburbia is more than a place. It is a shade of blue, a tint of orange. A heat in autumn winds, come from far places for this moment. It is leaves rustling in the trees, the sound of children laughing in the distance. It is the scent of homemade food on Sundays, and evening walks under the sunset lit sky. It is headlights passing your window late at night and finding empty liquor bottles and cigarette stubs in the damp grass next to forgotten benches. Outsiders are rare but welcome to unite in streets lined with tidy front yards. Suburbia is home, but Suburbia is more than a place. Suburbia…

The Killers, Wonderful Wonderful Tour 2018 in Cologne

On Monday, the 5th of March 2018, a dream of mine came true. I remember skyping with my friend about two years ago and him asking me which concerts I would like to go to. My first choice? “The Killers”. Two years later, the time came. I finally got to see one of my all-time favorite bands live! Funny enough, it was said friend that accompanied me. It´s weird because I´m so used to my hair smelling like beer and cigarette smoke after my beloved club concerts, but not even a trace of any other scent but my hairspray´s clung on to my hair. /Picture Credit: The Killers, Rob Laud/…

Los Angeles & San Francisco Travel Diary/Photography

LA & SF Traveldiary + Photography    LA & SF Traveldiary/Photography About a week ago (week ago week ago) me and my dad went on a trip to LA and San Francisco. We landed at LAX and stayed in Costa Mesa for two days, spending most of our time discovering LA, though. The hour long commute through all kinds of traffic jams was totally worth it! Finding out that LA does not, in fact, have a the traditional downtown thing going on, I loved walking (and drving, lots of driving) around and finding cool places to eat and people watch (one of my favorite past-times on vacation).   San Francisco,…

    Chicago Travel Diary/Photography

Chicago, the windy city. To me, it is so much more than that. In 2016, I got the chance to travel to Chicago, the city of my dreams. I fell in love with the people, the architecture, the history, the sunsets, and the food. But most of all I fell in love with the constant energy I felt while walking the streets.I felt like a completely new person stepping out of that plane, like I was invincible. Never had I felt this way before, and it was amazing. A surge of creativity and life overtook me, I randomly cut my hair short! But Chicago isn´t all beauty, there´s ugly sides…
